What makes these paintings very interesting and engaging is that they depict images of the diverse and varied common people leaving or arriving at the Howrah Station. Made on the flat concrete grey surface, these paintings show migrant groups including farmers, tribals, women, people from the fishing community, specially abled individuals and of course children. All these people are shown contributing their might to the progress and well-being of the country through their perseverance and hard labour.</p>
