Asia’s oldest and largest celebration of films, the nine-day 52nd edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) is all set to open today in Goa in a grand style with the movie “The King Of All The World” (El Rey de Todo El Mundo). The film is an immersive experience of a musical confluence of tragedy, fiction and reality.
The Spanish musical drama film directed and written by Carlos Saura, focuses on the making of a musical show. The Mexico-Spain co-production by a blending music and dance — both new and modern versions – of Spain and Mexico artistically attempts to revive the connection that existed between the two countries.
