Polio cases rise to 18 in Balochistan

<p style="font-weight: 400;">The poliovirus has infected one more, a 15-month-old girl in Pishin District. According to the health department, there are 18 active cases in Balochistan.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Another child, a 34-month-old, was reportedly a few days ago in Union Council Alizai.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The 15-month-old girl’s parents didn’t allow their child to get vaccinated.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Pakistan has reported 68 polio cases in 2020. The number was 147 in 2019.</p>
