Khandu Wangchuk Bhutia is famous for his art and paintings. He was born in Sikkim and since he was a child he decided to live in a monastery. He is a great follower of Lord Buddha. His Thangka painting is world-famous and got recognition in North America, Europe and Asia. Wangchuk Bhutia was also appreciated by Lamas for his great work. He was conferred with various awards and Padma Shri is one of them conferred to him in 2022.
