The Warner Bros Discovery will be beaming a six-part series “The Journey of India” from today, October 10 at 7 p.m. to commemorate the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, 75 years of India’s Independence.
The series will showcase India’s rich tapestry of heritage, innovation and contemporary marvels that have paved the way for this nation’s cutting-edge advancement besides narrating the tale of the country’s legacy with contributions from a range of personalities and leaders. The anchor of the series will be the popular Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan.

The programme will premiere on Discovery Channel, TLC, Discovery Science, Discovery Turbo and DTamil.
The show will touch upon a wide range of subjects, providing an in-depth look at the nation’s progress, influences and accomplishments during the past 75 years; from advancements in science and technology and its ambitious and successful space missions to the world of cinema that not only entertains but also inspires.
The show will also include fascinating stories of faith found across the country and its diverse food culture.
What makes the series special will be an extensive collection of historical footage.
