A video of a brave father saving his teenage son from a charging bull that would have gored him to death has gone viral.
The footage shows 18-year-old Cody Hooks riding the bull in the arena at a rodeo show in Texas, but the raging bull flings the boy off his back. As the teenager lies unconscious on the ground the bull gets ready to attack him as handlers try in vain to stop the enraged animal.
As the bull charges, the boy’s father jumps and lies down over his son’s body to bear the brunt of the bull’s attack. According to Houston Chronicle, Landis Cody, 40, was injured by the rampaging animal but managed to save his son from grievous harm.
