In clear message to belligerent China, India successfully test-fired Agni missile with 5,000 km range. Agni-5 was launched from the APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha at 7:50 pm on Wednesday. It can also be categorised as an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile.
