As India dealt with the second wave of Covid-19, a group of 6 professional women from India and abroad rallied together to form 'The Weavers' Resource Bridge' to keep the work of traditional handweaver artisans alive and help them and their workers earn a living through the pandemic. Managing to sell around Rs.1 crore worth of unique and handcrafted works between May-July, the Bridge is now focusing in empowering these artisans get online and transact their trade with their world, directly with consumers.
