Buckling under pressure mainly from the Indian diaspora, the Biden-Harris administration has lifted the ban on sending key raw materials for the development of COVID-19 vaccines to India. After a detailed discussion between US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan with India's NSA Ajit Doval, the decision to lift the ban was made along with sending medical supplies and equipments to India.
