India Meteorological Department today forecast heavy rainfall across some places in Kerala from 6th to 10th June and South Interior Karnataka on 9th & 10th June.

The weather bulletin has also predicted widespread rainfall of light to moderate intensity with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds over Kerala and South Interior Karnataka during the next 5 days.

*Scattered rainfall is expected in Coastal & North Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh in the next five days.

*Heat wave likely to continue in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand during next 5 days.

*Northwest India: Light to moderate isolated rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning very likely.
