The video captures the rare sight of a snow leopard family, a species that lives in the higher altitude areas and are almost impossible to spot.

Two snow leopard cubs are seen running in the mountainous terrain of Himachal Pradesh’s Spiti valley to reunite with their mother who is resting under a rock. The natural warmth and love between the mother and cubs as they meet, is truly a heart-moving sight.
The video was shot by Indian Revenue Service officer Ankur Rapria. “Look at love, joy n happines, when Snow Leopard Cubs reunite with the mother after hearing her call. Kibber, Himachal Pradesh,” he captioned the clip. Terming them as “ghost of Himalayas.” Mr Rapria said in another tweet that the one-year-old cubs were spotted at a height of 15,500 feet in -15 degrees in Spiti valley.
